When driving or creating something new; sometimes I can't see the future. I don't always know where I'm headed, but the chances are strong that there's someone out there who's driven down this road before.

Every meaningful thing we do (love, work, art, parenting, building) is exactly this: steering full speed toward a future that hasn’t shown its face yet, guided only by faint evidence that someone else made it through the dark before us.
