Spending a rare weekend with family, laughing over old stories, that feeling always brings up one thing for me: the clock is ticking on every hug and every shared meal. It's just a matter of time before we all scatter back to our separate roads soon enough. **Nothing lasts forever.** 

Everything that has a beginning has an end, and that means that every person you know is eventually going to exit your life. It could be by choice, circumstance, or fate. 

Knowing that every relationship must end puts us in a precarious spot: Is it worth the time and effort of making it work? It also reveals a truth: At the end of everything, **you only have you**. You live with yourself more than you live with others, and no matter where you go, there you are. 

So here's my advice to you this week. **Cherish your connections without clinging.** Invest your energy today in one small act that strengthens a bond—like a quick call or honest conversation—because **the value isn't in forever, but in the depth you build right now.**
